We are pleased to announce that we have wrapped production on Incarcerating US! After a little over a year of traveling the country, shooting interviews, and learning more about the criminal justice and prison system we have finished our final shoot and are ready to enter post-production.

It has been an incredible experience hearing the personal stories of those affected by the criminal justice system and learning more about this important issue from experts in the field. It was difficult to know exactly how to explore this topic and capture footage that would allow us to put together a feature length film but we are pleased with what we have accomplished during production. Thanks to everyone that shared their stories and expertise, we have captured a ton of compelling footage. The hardest part now will be deciding what makes the final cut.

We are excited to start organizing the footage and begin shaping this movie. It will be a challenge but the importance of this topic keeps us motivated to make this the best movie possible so that it will have a significant impact on the national discussion about criminal justice. Time to hit the editing room!
