Under the company name of Tiresias Pictures, Asher has directed and produced a host of narrative categories from commercials, PSA’s, short films, and documentaries. His highly collaborative approach and interest in a variety of subject materials has lead him to work with churches, non-profits health clinics, commercial and motion picture companies. Asher’s a myth-maker who understands that myths and narrative orientate themselves in the world and to one another as human beings: “agony is the heartbeat; death is the crucible; renewal is the goal.” Asher is interested in identifying the afflictions all human beings encounter, tracing the unique and often surprising ways it can dramatically unfold. A graduate of Georgia State, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies with an emphasis in Greek myth. He currently resides in the heart of Decatur, Georgia.
